This policy explains what Powersmith Energy collects when you use this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. It covers powersmithsolar.com and the forms, calculators and partner tools on it.
Powersmith Energy (Powersmith Solar) is a veteran-owned solar, battery storage, EV charging and electrical company based in San Diego, California.
Address: 1111 6th Avenue Suite 300, San Diego, CA 92101. Phone: 619-581-1121. Email: servicedesk@powersmithsolar.com.
For anything in this policy, contact us at servicedesk@powersmithsolar.com.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. SMS consent is collected when a user voluntarily submits their mobile number through a form on powersmithsolar.com and checks the optional SMS consent box. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help, or contact servicedesk@powersmithsolar.com.
We collect information you give us directly, and a small amount your browser sends automatically.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site.
We share personal information only with companies that help us run the business, and only for that purpose. They are contractually required to protect it and may not use it for their own ends.
When you submit a form asking for a quote, you are agreeing that we may contact you about it — by phone, text message or email — using the details you gave us.
Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message, or by emailing servicedesk@powersmithsolar.com.
Opting out of marketing does not stop messages about a project already underway, such as scheduling an installation.
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. What it does store is small and functional:
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA gives you the following rights:
We keep enquiry and customer records for as long as we are working with you and afterwards for as long as we need them for warranty, tax, accounting and legal purposes.
Referral and commission records are kept for as long as the commission may be payable and for our accounting records afterwards.
If you ask us to delete your information and we are not required to keep it, we will.
Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Access to customer records is limited to staff who need it.
No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — but if a breach affects your personal information we will notify you as the law requires.
This site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change is significant we will make that clear on this page.
